I think it might grow well where you live. I,m pretty sure they like cooler winters than we get here. The main thing I’ve learned is that the flowers grow on the old wood. Now I have a shape that I’m keeping I only cut off new wood that doesnt help the shape. I hope your new home goes well it sounds lovely
